Does co-habiting affect private pension?

Friend of mine has been in receipt of a Barclays pension after her husband died a few years ago. As far as I know (but fully prepared to be wrong!) the public Widows Pension/Bereavement Allowance ends once the recipient marries/co-habits with another person...would this apply to the private pension? Asking as she is on verge of co-habiting with new partner and is concerned she might lose it as it is quite a reasonable amount. Been looking around interweb with no result and she doesn't want to approach the bank at the moment.
Thanks in advance

It's the only way she will find out I'm afraid. Each pension scheme has its own rules.0
