Asda online substitutes
I'm new to online grocery shopping, and stupidly had 'accept substitutes' ticked for everything, having done a quick google I now realise this was daft.
Anyway, I ordered 2 x 52 pampers from Asda for £20. = 104 nappies. They've substituted it for 4 x 19 for £20. = 76 nappies.
Surely they can't get away with that?

Id write an email to complain or phone up. You have got less than the amount you specified for the price you paid. I'd kick up a right fuss. The Year Of DreamsBig Love To All Comp Sharers

I am sure they will put that right for you, probably the picker was not clued up about nappies.
I had the opposite with my last shop, I chose no subs and all were subbed up.
Call them and I am sure it will be sorted, the last thing I would do is kick up a fuss, just ask for it to be sorted out.Blackpool_Saver is female, and does not live in Blackpool0 -
yeah, thanks. Spent 20 minutes on the phone earlier waiting to get through with no luck (at least it's 0800), will try again tomorrow. Not a great first experience!0

I have had no problems.
When they substitute a more expensive item, eg I ordered chocolate at £1 and it was substituted with chocolate at £1.25, I still get charged £1This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Hi,
You still don't have to accept the subs when they are delivered. If you don't want them just tell the driver & they will take them back & issue a refund. All the drivers who have deleivered to me have always told me to check the subs to see if they are ok.Married the man of my dreams - 10th September 2012, St Paul's Bay Lindos :jIt was amazing.
