I dont know whether or not anyone has done this or not but hopefully i will be able to pay back some of my debts like my loan and credit card.
Do you know if you can come up with some sort of settlement 'deal' firgure where they might reduce some of the costs for quick payment? I know on my loan they are charging me over £100 for an early settlement fee - this seems a rip off!
Any help will be great thanks jen x

Most companies only accept reduced final settlements if you're in quite a bit of arrears or the debt has been passed to a debt collection agency.Total 'Failed Business' Debt £29,043

Thanks for the info
I have been behind with a few payments now and have had someone for the CAB contact them with a revised repayment amount. I might be able to clear my credit card soon so do you think it would be worth asking them what they are likely to accept in full payment - im sure they would want to get rid of a bad paying customer wouldnt they?!LBM - April 2007Claimed back my bank charges from Natwest - £1196Halifax Credit Card Claiming £467.35 Rec £467.35!/Capital One Card Claiming - £523.92/Barclaycard Claiming - £403.58 Rec £403.58/MBNA Claiming - £584.37 Rec£584.37Proud to be dealing with my debtsUpdate: 2009 - Currently claiming £1900 from Natwest0
