Joint credit card addition during a mortgage application

Dear experts,
I have recently accepted for a ftb mortgatge and currently waiting for home valuation to get accepted by the lender prior to morgatge completion. My credit history is good and only 1 cc under my name.
Unfortunately, today my wife add my name into her credit card during a call with the cc company. She does not posses good credit history, therefore I have only applied for the mortgage against my name.
Q1. Is this credit card inclusion will gonna affect my credit history and is it going to adversely affect my mortgage application??
Thanks a lot for your time and support. Regds,

Why on earth did you do this in the middle of a mortgage application. You are now connected to someone with an admitted poor credit history and have negated your action of applying for the mortgage in your name only. I am not saying your mortgage application will not succeed, but you have made a large error.0

I suggest you immediately contact the credit card company and make clear that you do not consent. You might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0

Presumably you declared your wife as a dependent on the mortgage application?0

No it wont affect your credit history.
There is no such thing as joint credit card accounts. Your wife has added you as an additional card holder this does not create a financial association nothing will be reported on your credit file.
She is solely liable for the debt on the card.

I agree with noh.
You haven't opened a joint account, so there should be no financial link.
You have simply become another user on her account. No credit search should have been done for such a transaction.I am a mortgage broker. Thanks all of your time and support...I already talked with the credit card company and they told me I am only an authorised user. So their wont be any financial link or neither affect to my credit score..0

Adding someone to a credit card merely means they can use the card. Don't worry about the above comments which aren't at all factual.0
