Worried, ITV win?

Just out of curiousity anyone know the itv number they call from? I doubt i wiill ever win one, although never say never but might save the number lol
How good would that be, missed call: ITV although knowing my luck will be wrong number ha ha

I think ITV contact the winner first and if cant get hold of i have heard of them emailing you, although who knows it is probably a coincedence, hope it is you though, let us know :-)

Hi I won a Rimmel goodie bag from itv a couple of weeks ago, the number they rang from began with 0208 unfortunately I've deleted the number now but hope that helps. And your right about them talking to the winner first they had been trying to get hold of me since before Xmas once they had my name appeared on the list

I still cannot get my head around the odds of not only winning on ITV comps but someone winning who has the same name as me, I just cant!

Looks a common enough name to me, you already know it is a different county and ITV phone (not e-mail) the potential winner on the number provided at the time of entry before they are confirmed as a winner.

(If the postcode part of the entry form is completed ITV know the winners county before they contact them)

You have to give your postcode, so they would know where the entry came from. Chin up, it's disappointing but keep trying, it could still happen.

The Real Deal doesn't require a postcode on the entry form, its optional.

If my name was published and the winner lives in another county, I'd love to meet 'em 'cos my name is very, very, very unique :cool:

The name on the list for that date looks like a very common one, and seeing as it's from Essex, not Sussex, I very much doubt it's you
My surname is very unusual and my first name is not that common, so I'd be astounded to see another person with the same full name, but I do remember once seeing a letter in a daily newspaper sent by somebody with the exact same maiden name as me and thinking "wow there's two of us!!" However the name published there on that Real Deal list is definitely not unusual so I'd be willing to wager there are hundreds of them up and down the country!!
I'm also certain that ITV do not publish winners names without speaking to them first. That's why you sometimes see "still trying to contact the winner" on their page.

192 brings up over 200 people living in the UK with that name - several of them being from Essex.

Hope you still get a lovely win soon though.
