I am due to move hosuse in the next few weeks. I called Sky about another matter last week and queried about moving. She said that if there is a sky dish already there at my new house ( which there is ) then I dont need to pay anything. But she said that becasue I have Sky+ I will need an engineer !!! Is this right ? Surely the dish is the same no matter what !!!

Sky+ has an extra cable coming from your dish to your receiver to allow you to view one channel while recording another, so an engineer would have to come out and do this if the extra cable isn't already in place.0

Hi, as Kev has said if you need the second cable putting in then you will need an engeneer out.
Though, if your out of contract and dont mind siging up for a new one then you may be best sigining up as a 'new' customer at the new address to get new equipment.0 -
Thanks folks.
I understand now. Why couldnt she have just said that on the phone !!!
My hubby has never had Sky, so I could leave and sign up in his name!!!

I fully agree - get hubby to sign up as a new customer and do it through quidco so you get £50 cashback!!
If you think you are too small to make a difference, try getting in bed with a mosquito!0
