New motto!

I have been doing a lot of reading about fitness, as well as actually doing it. I found a motto online that I hope I can stick by...
"Appearance is a consequence of fitness."
So instead of getting in shape, losing weight, etc, my goals are to be stronger, faster, and better than I have ever been, and hey, maybe I'll look better when I run the Spartan Race. Even if not, I'll cross that finish line!
Just thought this might motivate others as it has me.

"I believe in ordinary acts of bravery, in the courage that drives one person to stand up for another."
"It's easy to know what you're against, quite another to know what you're for."

I heard one not long ago " A goal without action is just a wish".
I thought it was pretty good and applicable to a lot of things in my life!0 -
Don't forget the classics:
'Sweat More- Jiggle Less'
'Sweat is Fat Crying'
'Take care of your body- it's the only place you have to live'
and
'Don't let your fears stand in the way of your dreams'My mind not only wanders .......... sometimes it leaves completely0 -
And the good old "Pain is a weakness leaving the body"

For the after training muscle ache...
"Don't blame the pain on the exercise, blame the previous lack of it."0 -
For me it was: Go heavy or go home
