Recycling batteries

Anyone know of any way to sell old batteries, predominantly for laptops/mobiles/general household.
It's in the hope of raising a few pennies for charity.

If you're getting through a reasonable number of household batteries, a battery charger could be a good investment.
I also try to get items that use standard batteries rather than special batteries where possible, as it tends to make the item useful for longer and it cuts back massively on charger clutter too.0 -
