Army themed hen do ideas?

Hi there,
My friend is getting married soon and is having an army themed hen do. Want to do as cheap as poss, and most of the "costumes" from fancy dress websites/eBay are £15 + which is a bit more than I wanted to pay.
Does anyone have any ideas how I can do the army theme without blowing the budget?
P.S. Sorry if this is the wrong board!

That takes me back, i went to one years ago. we got the combats from army surplus shop and then green t-shirt. i think one of the girls got loads of dogtags on internet so only cost us £1 each. sorry, cant remember anything else it was nearly 20 years ago!0

Have you got any khaki trousers/combats? Or could borrow some? Brown or khaki belt. Get a plain khaki t shirt from Primark. Green and brown camoflage paint for your face. Thick socks and boots and a plastic army helmet with netting then you can stick some hedge cuttings in it. Dog tags or a bullet belt. Some of this stuff you can probably get in the poundshops.
When I went on a friend's one we made up name badges - like Major Cockup, Private Parts (you get the idea!)Over futile odds

I have absolutely nothing camo/khaki so it's all gonna be from scratch! Think Primarni/Poundland is the way forward and hopefully they'll have some bits.October Grocery Challenge - £67.18/£135

Hit the charity shops, we had a war themed do for my grandma and grandads diamond wedding, along with the usual navy/army/military outfits hired there were some more original outfits! i went as a land girl, trousers tucked in boots, blouse and headscarf over rollers, i have a picture somewhere on the pc if i can find it, cost next to nothing xI will save my tesco £1 savings stamps this year! .......so far = £50 (full card#1)
Card #2 £6. I will not be skint at Chistmas this year!
Total £560 -
Poundland sell kids dressing up stuff. I bought my son a set for Xmas (he is 18 and was about to go into the army!) there was a helmet, grenade, gun, dogtags and other stuff all for, you guessed it, £1. I think they may have face paints too.
They also have large bags of plastic toy soldiers and we played a great game on NYE (which was Military themed). You all have a different toy soldier and whenever someone blows the whistle (randomly throughout the evening) you have to strike your soldiers pose!!!
