Roboform question

I paid for Roboform and it's saved a list of all the sites I'm registered with...however I have no idea how to use Roboform to log into these sites :(

If I go on the Roboform icon and and click on logins, it brings up all the sites I'm registered with but nothing happens when I click on them :( What am I doing wrong?? :o:(

Hi, I'm a new RF user but I think I can see what's happening here. First, go to "Roboform" far left of toolbar and from the drop down menu choose - Customize Toolbar>Customize Toolbar and make sure you have "Matching Passcards" in the right hand column. Then, go a website you have to log into and enter your details. A drop down bar will appear just below the RF toolbar asking if you want to save the details. Click OK.
Now, when you go to that website again the name of it will appear in BOLD in the RF toolbar and you hover over it and then click Fill and Submit and you're done.
Hope this makes sense and helps.

Should have said - you have to do that for each website you want to save your details of. RF doesn't remember things unless you tell it to. I have set up IDENTITIES to log me into sites which RF doesn't do - i.e. Facebook. If you want me to tell you how, just shout. There's probably another way but it works for me.
  • When you visit a site that you have saved the login details with, find a page that will allow you to enter your username and password. Then go to the toolbar and it should have the name of the site you want to log in with. If you hover over the option, you have two options (fill forms and fill & submit). You will need to try one or the other to see which one works.
  • I thought I already said that. Sorry if it wasn't clear.

Just to make a quick process a shade quicker, if you click instead of hover over the bold website name, it automatically fills and submits saving you if you're REALLY lucky about half a second :D

There are a few sites that that doesn't work for though, the body/manc/liverpool confidential sites comes to mind straight away
Golly, I've got the newt pregnant...

What I did was this - Hover over your Identity & choose 'Edit' then click on 'Custom'.
In left hand column (Field Name) type "Tel No" (without quotes)
In centre column (Field Value) type your phone number as you want it to appear.
In right hand column (Other match strings) make a list of any other words relating to Tel No - all on separate lines - for example

    Telephone number
    Home No
    Home Number.

Anything you put in the Custom Section overrides any other personal details in other Sections
