Finding out when trains arrived...

I was on a couple of trains last week, both of which were delayed. I'm intending to claim back some money through the website as both were over half an hour late, one over an hour.

Is there a website which will tell you when trains arrived so that I can put down the exact times the trains were delayed?

Thanks!

trainrefunds.co.uk may help but it does rely on people reporting the delays.

I fear you've misunderstood the question. He doesn't want to know what time the train should have been - which is what you are telling him - but how late it was on a particular day.

I think you've misunderstood - the OP wants to find out the time a delayed train actually arrived, not the time it was due.

Thanks for all of your help.

Yeah, I'm trying to find out the actual arrival of a train last week (I can't see how to do that on the realtimetrains website).

I imagine that I can estimate, they will check, and then they'll tell me if I'm able to get anything.

    Thanks again!

See my first post. Yes, I checked my watch; no, I didn't write down how many minutes late the trains were which is what the forms require.

But it's just a question of arithmetic - you know from the timetable what time the trains should have arrived, you know from your watch what time they did arrive - take one from the other and bingo.

Seriously?! A week ago, I took several trains over a couple of days, two of which were significantly delayed. I did not write down the exact times they arrived (and as we all know, the time the train officially arrives doesn't always accord with when you get off the train). I remember that one was roughly half an hour late, the other roughly an hour late. On the paper form you just have to tick the rough time the train was delayed by; on the online form you are supposed to write the number of minutes it was late.

As I said in my opening post, I have a rough idea but can't remember exactly how late each train was. I wondered if there was a website with access to the information which is stored by train companies. It seems there isn't.

    Thanks to those who helped.
