Get the new Crimea album for free

In a move that is either immensely brave, or foolhardy in the extreme, The Crimea have decided to release their new album, in full, for free to download from their website, a full month or so ahead of the official cd release.

Their first album 'Tragedy Rocks' was in my opinion the best album of 2005, and after a couple of listens, the new one 'Secrets of the Witching Hour' is really growing on me as well. This could well be the album that propels them into the mainstream, and deservedly so I think.

I think the idea is sound, given that so many people get their music free from (illegal) download sites anyway, and it's live shows and merchandise that make the money these days.

From what I've heard of it so far, the album is excellent: distinctive sound, interesting lyrics, and not another Coldplay copy!

I would say that if people aren't impressed to start with, stick with the album - it's definitely a grower.

Look at the very bottom of the download page, and you will see an altenative download link, which should work in firefox.

amazin band amazin album, not quite as instant as the first but after a listen or two , amazing!! hopefully thi'ss sort them out an get them noticed a lot more
