Facebook mass delete

Options
Sorry if this is on here, I did search but nothing came up but does anyone on here know how to do a mass delete? I've won a comp but they can't find themselves on my likes cos I've got so many there. I'm coming up to my limit anyhow but I don't have a notion how to mass delete. Thanks.

    Hi Lauzipop,

I hit the like limit a while ago, and I couldn't find anything that does a mass delete but I use this:

    https://apps.facebook.com/unlikeit/

I just sort them by oldest likes first, then its the painful task of unliking them all one by one. :)

Ohhh thank you so much. I'll give it ago because I was worried I'd delete my most recent likes.
  • Crikey - thanks for this thread. I didn't even know there WAS a like limit! Do you know what the limit is?

I think the limit is 5000. I only do the FB comps posted on here but its surprising how quickly all the likes build up.

I would maybe keep liking the pages you have liked in the last month as many could be still running comps you have entered by app.
:TA big thanks to all who post and sprinkling lucky dust to all who enter :smileyhea

I don't think there is a faster way to unlike or unlike all button but this may be the quickest way.
Click on the padlock at the top right of the Facebook page then click on the see more settings at the bottom of the box.
On the left of the facebook page you will see a list of things like blocking, notifications etc. Click on the apps button (a box with an f on it).
A list of all the apps you have used and use still will appear. Just click on the x button to delete the app. It will ask if you are sure, just confirm.

Apologies if you knew about this method in advance.
  • Great advice Andrew - may I just add that if you click the little box which is on the pop-up you can Delete all your "name" activity on Facebook

I've been trying to clear out my Likes recently.
I usually just click my name in the top left, click Likes, Edit and scroll to 'Other pages you like' and then you just scroll through the alphabetic list and click Unlike next to each name. Quite long with alot of likes but the easiest way I've found.

I think that is why so many compers have had their Facebook accounts suspended - compers have usually liked 1000s of pages, whereas non comping account holders have probably less than 100! Facebook 'control' must just pluck out and pick on people with 1000s of liked pages and who have friends who have also likes 1000s of pages! Compers must stick out like a sore thumb!

I have six non comping friends on FB and have just looked at their 'likes' Not one of them has liked more than 50 pages!!!! They just use their accounts for chats and catch up though! HUGE difference though!

I have two facebook accounts one for family and friends and one for competitions. Once a competition as ended and the winner as been announced I unlike the page same with twitter. It saves so much time doing this.
