IPA Change of Circumstances

EDITED for clarity - it was my misinterpretation of posts, not incorrect information - this was posted for info only

I just thought I would post this for general information.
Everything I have previously read on here suggested to me that if someone has a change of circumstances during an IPA then the IPA is frozen until the OR reviews the circs and ammends the payment or otherwise, and that suspended time counts against the 36mths.

I contacted Moonbeever in early Jan for a change of circumstances. They have sent me a form, which I have completed and returned with evidence.

However, they stated, and confirmed, that the IPA continues as before until the OR makes a decision. I can ask for a lower interim payment but it won't necessarily be agreed.

No suspension of IPA.

I thought I would make people aware in case they thought otherwise.

(now 13 months into the IPA - time goes so quick, roll on 36months!)

I must admit I totally disagree with everything you have stated. Can you find anyone quoting that.

I think you will find that myself along with others have stated that iffor example you are paying an IPA and that you have a large bill to pay. In that major car repairs or you need a new boiler, the OR may agree to suspend payments. If your circumstances change in that you have less spare money for example the payments will not get suspended until a new figure has been agreed.
