I work opposite The Bell, and second that suggestion! It's pretty cool, good live music.
Nowhere in Bath will be cheap, sadly, it's pricey all round. There is a Wetherspoons hidden down by the Odeon though, which is cheap.
In terms of actual 'nice' places to go out, I always finish up in The Common Room. Really cute, quirky bar with a little dance-floor.
The Cork is nice too.
Parking? Not easy in Bath! Have you looked at trains home? They run quite late here.0 -
