I would suspect people wouldnt take it,
the people you get at the highwater mark tourists / locals are very different to the types who go wondering low water0 -
This sounds great. We've recently moved to the coast, and the sea wall is literally just outside my garden gate. I've often thought about buying a rod and catching a bit of free dinner, but don't really have the time to sit there all day waiting for a bite. Just leaving a net or creel out there would be ideal though.
Will a creel catch many fish? I'm defo not a fan of crab or lobster. But I love fish.
And what do you do with the fish once you've caught it? How do you kill it?0 -
if your on a sea wall and you cant walk out at low tide why not try a trot line / long line
tye one end of a line to a rock and the other to the sea wall and slide down hooks baited with live prawns or live small fish. used to do this aswell for the bass when i was younger0
