anyone work in the wedding sector / wedding planning industry?

Hi, I'm currently in the process of flipping a domain for £x,xxx in this niche, more specifically the cornwall wedding industry and am writing sales copy for the email.

does anyone work in this industry / know on an average what net profit a wedding venue will make from a single wedding, (i realise this will vary depending on the venue and how lavish the wedding is, but im just looking for rough estimates.

also how do wedding venues generally advertise offline, i imagine wedding fairs are one way but do they advertise in local papers or what.

Thought I'd come to the folks here as there are quite a few with varied careers and experience
