Welcome Finance

Has anyone had any dealing with welcome finance secured loans?
I have just cancelled my direct debit with them, so I can save for my bankruptcy fees and a deposit for a rented house.
I am planning to move out in the next few months and I want to know what the rough timescale is before they get heavy.
Thanks

Hi pink ,have done a search for you to see if any other poster on the site had any experiance of welcome and time scales but theres not one .

Have you looked on your loan agreement as it sometimes has the procedures on there.

Also have you taken any proff advice regarding your bankruptcy as that is a must.?

Uh, well we've had experience of Welcome but we had a HPA with them and due to their car being utter rubbish, we stopped paying back in Septemeber. They called a few times, wrote a few times but we've not heard a peep since November.

We have had to chase THEM to get the car collected and we are still waiting for them. Even though the car was included in OH's BR proceedings!

They are a joke, don't be scared of them one bit, they are full of hot air but not quick on the uptake.

    Thanks for the advise.
I have had professional advise on the bankruptcy and have also checked the loan agreement. The loan agreement just says the usual stuff and the person I spoke to about the bankruptcy said they was unsure of Welcome finances procedures, but without saying yes to cancelling my dd to save for fees and rent, she basically said what I was suggesting was a good idea.
