    Just been to LIDL.

    Who can afford meat? :)

Large can of Red Kidney Beans - 18p

Best bargain, though, was 7 large, juicy oranges for £1

Much better value than the Aldi Super 6 - just not sure what I'm going to do with them!

£1.49 in my store - made do with a couple of bags of clementines at 82p each instead - about 15 in a bag I think.

They're not that cheap, think I will stick to the 20kg nets of UK grown onions available for £2.99 (that's a £1.24 increase on the usual price due to poor harvests) from almost anywhere round here.

I have only 2 brown onions left, so at least 3 bags this weekend.
I'm just finishing off the last of the 99p 5kg sack from the last time.
    Perfect timing. lol

I have to say that I am impressed by the prices. What is the quality of the items like ie. pots of sauce and packets of rice compared say to Uncle Bens.
I know there is a massive difference price wise but are these items on a par with what Tesco and the likes offer in their value range, which in my opinion is poor.
ssuming your answers are positive. Do Lidl restrict the amount you buy?
