We went here last year on a rainy horrid day but the donkeys were still happy and well worth visiting. My kids loved stroking the donkeys. Who needs expensive days out, we had just as much fun here for an hour or 2.0

I live not too far away and go to the donkey sanctuary. I take my girl there, it is great especially as it is free. Just a thought though I was shocked and saddened to learn that more people give donations in devon to the donkey sanctuary than the homeless

though to be fair the donkeys don't choose to be homeless where as some homeless people do despite offers of help. Which i think is even sadder.I live not too far away and go to the donkey sanctuary. It is very nice for a relaxing day out and very near the coast. My son went when he was 3 and he is normally scared of big animals but he stood and stroked one of the donkeys in the barn. They have a webcam if you want to see them.
