Amazon DVD question

Options
Daughter wants me to buy her a used DVD from Amazon, they all appear to be USA based companies. Will it be OK and playable?

Final Fantasy Unlimited Vol I, if it helps.

Thanks

depends on what you are trying to play it on (pc/dvd player/otherwise)... and if your dvd player is multi-region.

also to note: probably cheaper with p&p to buy the box set from a USA company, i've brought from some amazon USA sellers before and their delivery times can range from 1 week to 2 months... hope that helps

Don't know what you intend to pay but how about 8.99 + 0.95 P&P from a reliable seller

These are pretty cheap on Play atm, might as well be safe than sorry.
I have been waiting for the UK version to come down in price. Got the Jap. versions, do yourself a favour and only buy it if you are really into anime that is mainly aimed at kids or you simply want to own it because your a FF fan.
    It's good, just nothing special.

The other solution would be to enter the code to make your dvd player multi region.

Most dvd players have a code and do a search on google and you'll find it easily enough.

For example the tesco £18 one I bought 6 months ago, took 30 secs to find the code, less time to enter it using the remote control and was able to watch USA dvd's in no time at all!

I had a quick look and couldn't find you one either, from what I was reading it looks like this is currently a DVD software only hack, maybe in the future it will have a remote one.
For the price of the DVD software (usually £14-20) you can just buy the english versions, pointless since its only £7.99 delivered on Play, unless of course you watch a lot of region 1 DVDs.

Cheers Diablos, have taken your route via Quidco. My wife will mock, but one day quidco will give me some money :)

It certainly will! I've already had £600 from Quidco and have £300 tracking for payment next month!

I've only shopped as normal but get cashback on house insurance, car insurance etc and mobile phone contract.
