Anyone else doing the Belfast Marathon?

I know not money saving but was just wondering is anyone else doing the Belfast marathon this year?

Im in the middle of my training for it, I tried to do it in 2011 but knees gave way with about 8 weeks to go, so fingers crossed this time!!

Fair play to you. I go out running and spot the marathon trainers on the circuit. I don't think I could give the time to training.

I'm running it too, did the half marathon last year so going for the full thing this year. I've been training since November last year and hope to start getting up to 15 mile runs in the next 2 weeks.

When you sign up for the event you'll get a free weekly training plan from theRunLounge.com - I've found it quite useful.

    Hello

I've just signed up to do the 9 mile walk! I know it's not quite the marathon but gotta walk before you can run, right?!

    Can't wait! :D

How is training going for you? Only a month left to go!!

Good luck all - but me, you have to be joking - would need a defibrillator attached!

    Only 2 weeks left!!

Did a 9 mile walk yesterday and managed to keep up a good pace. Have to say though that my feet felt like they were burning by the end of it :o

Well pleased with myself! Just hope I can manage the same pace on the day!
