Only joking. It's a cracking city that will feel like it's foreign and familiar at the same time. We stayed in a room in the Hotel Singel ,
Singel 13-17, Amsterdam 1012 VC
check it out on travel republic etc.
Not much crime but watch out for bag snatchers. Everybody spoke English (and German and French) but most places used cash and if they took a card only took Visa OR Mastercard so bring both. Very jealous. There is no honour to be had in not knowing a thing that can be known - Danny Baker0 -

Sorry Savvy I meant making a few posts at the beginning of your thread "reserved for AvT" and so on until you have time to copy your lists across to the new thread. Sorry not making myself clear I have the lurgy and using dh's mobile which is a pita. Hoping this makes sense will be great to see your new thread.

Evening guys, I have just got back from a break to Amsterdam, we went on the boat on Friday night and came back this morning, boy what a busy place that is!!!
So, whats been happening in the world of the elite?
i am going to have a quick catch up now but notice the soft and gentle still happening and now the potatoes with herbs again, are we heading towards the merry go round again?
I see all this talk of Amsterdam tonight, if anyone wants a cheap getaway, P&O Ferries are doing BOGOF at the minute for £79 for 2 people with 2 nights on the boat and a full day in Amsterdam.Sailing from Hull. It`s nice to be important, but its more important to be nice.

Have spent a lot of time on trivago, same as all the others, booked or unsuitableIt's a very densely poulated country so they have to make room somehow!

I'm not sure I'd want to stay in the smallest room with the radiator like that :eek:I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Health & Beauty, Greenfingered Moneysaving and How Much Have You Saved boards. they were individual made in little fairy cake trays don't think they were cheesey more eggy, I love baking cakes etc and experimenting with them but am a simple cook with most things that is why they had to be simple and the 3 things her oh asked for where my mini jacket potatoes chocolate cheesecake and the salmon tarts he even got the photos out and showed me
so I most find a recipe so thank you very much for your help.:j0 -

Can you recommend a good place to stay, centrally? I've got the Elite on a mission for me, Easter weekend for less than £250

I really must apologise for doubting you when you joined the Elite a couple of months ago. Unfortunately, you joined during a period where several AEs were posting and your style led me to believe that you may be one of them.
However, you have proved yourself time and time again since before Christmas and I must admit, your posts have been invaluable to a lot of us in our quest to save loads of cash.
So, given that Nannylalla can't start the new thread, how about you, Savvybuyer? Without a doubt you deserve the honour of doing it. Does anyone else agree?:D:D
