Can I ask, what is the recycling hut? Do they take clothing? TIA

Oh dear, I'm sorry there was none left, hope you get something back on your pp womble :) I'm popping to my store tomorrow, hoping they have some in there.

Sorry, playing catch up. On our retail parks, they have these metal conatiner cabins that pay you cash for clothing, no bedding though, i just put this at the bottom of the bag as they only check the top! £5 per 10kg. Not a huge amount but it adds up especially if you offer to take families bits!!! Its like with the glitches, they cant be bothered so i dont feel guilty!
Please don't judge me. you couldn't handle half of what I've been through.

Seriously? You got £12 for recycling holey bedsheets that you can buy probably for less than £12????

It was mainly clothes that have outgrown my mom, and two sheets. They dont take bedding but they dont bother to check!

    Well Just caught up.

Thank you all for your kind thoughts for last nights wedding reception.
It was a lovely do. We raised our glasses for MIL, and my nephew and his bride looked so happy.

Had to laugh, was at the buffet table (not point counting at all for WW) and spotted a lady in an identical dress to mine:eek::eek:
Luckily we were both about the same shape and age.

I went over to her and complimented her on her taste in clothes:T well what else could we do.:rotfl::rotfl:

Glad your doggy on the mend nannylala.

Hope you feeling a bit better today saversue.

Is everyone eagerly awaiting Davids test shop results at around 1pm. Thank you David for your early start:):)

This has happened to me at a wedding, soo embarrassing.

Right, you bunch of lovely peeps on here, as you are sooo good at picking the lovely wonderful names you call these threads, I was wondering if you could pick a fantastic name for a group of ladies who are running Race For Life in June. We are a group of mums from school and a few of the ladies from my Zumba class aswell. I would be very grateful if you could come up with some fantastic names that we could have a choose from.

    Many thanks.

Afternoon still raining but it has definately got warmer it usually does this before it snows:eek:Thinking I might make some cheese scones whilst roast is in the oven as i have a drop of milk and cheese that need using up. I do like seeing all the pictures of things people have baked .I always did lots of baking when Lala was small and also with the grandsons ,the trend now seems to be home cooking again starting from scratch:T at least that way you know what you are consuming;)

Grandson no3 has just been to see me and what a shock he has had all his long hair and it was long cut short:eek:(he is 19)
