Just got my S&G results back from 2 x 10.15 shops this morning. The Sensitive (almond milk and honeysuckle) compared at 20p to Tesco, the Body Responsive (passion flower and black orchid) DID NOT COMPARE TODAY for me.

Fortunately I only had one of each Responsive in each shop .:)

Can we please see your results? x
:D Coupons = the only money we can legally print for ourselves:D

:j A coupon for a free item that is price glitched in Mr T's to be cheaper than Sada for an apg = HEAVEN :j

    :money: total = £47.48 cc = 413 selling stuff = £23.00 Floor pennies = £5.79

Thanks. My different interpretation, in which I rip everything to shreds but intended in the nicest possible way;). I think you did lose on the potatoes, since they're far more expensive than the Basics/Eday Value 2.5kg. Appears that prices for those have risen in the last day or two - I must get down to T to see if I can find the old SEL on them.

The wholemeal baps? 80p. Better per pack would be the Kingsmill Wholemeals Rolls (6) as part of BM vs T - but need to buy 2 packs - or some of the Finger Rolls A vs someone, but whoopsies cheaper.

The seedless grapes vs M were known about, but not considered best. 10 Bananas for £1.50 - but I think loose at 68p/kg (Sada, Lidl or T vs A) would get the same amount for cheaper - or the 1kg pack for 68p in Aldi.

Sorry for tearing to total shreds:o.

You are more than welcome.:p (no offence meant).

    1. SP/ED potatoes are not good for SW chips
    2. No KM rolls, only bought 1 pack of wm as only wanted 3 rolls and no room in freezer for another pack
    3. No roll whoopsies available
    4. Was buying grapes anyway
    5. Loose bananas were manky and very ripe - so would be a waste of money
    6. Pack of bananas that I got were all green except 2, which is what I needed for today

Yes Savvy :D But maybe Maris Piper were bought for a specific reason - they are well known for making the best chips or mash. You may think a potato is a potato but some are more suited to different ways of cooking

Yes, I'm aware about that. I did try Maris Piper recently (can't remember where) when they were on offer, they tasted very nice potatoes. If buying Maris Piper, looks like vs T at the mo. as T is £2.40 on 2.5kg.

Please bear with me and I am giving suggestions on here for what's going to be cheapest! It doesn't necessarily mean that other versions will not be better for you (i.e. anyone) even if not the cheapest one. Remember I'm adopting my blinkeredness to money saving!:rotfl:

PS Can we see the full details on the Nescafe shop from T v M. Would be useful as I'm doing a shop at T and wanting to see what compares etc.
  • Already bought :(

All very valid. See my last post - I'm bringing to attention possible cheaper alternatives ('blinkered' money-saving) but there may be reasons why people would buy differently and/or products not available/poor quality etc.

And I've just seen your graphic. Ner ner ner ner ner...:p
Good, I like it. Good intelligent debate when we come to sticking out tongues at each other!:rotfl::rotfl: (I'm saying I like getting involved in the banter!)

There will never, of course, be any K/M rolls in A: if there were, it wouldn't be an S v T shop!!! (Be Av T instead for 10% off rather than just a match.)
