Some funny sayings my Aunt used to say (she passed away on 29th December 2012) we all used to have such a laugh at them !
"Her, she wouldn't call the Queen her Auntie! " meaning the lady thought she was very posh.
"My a**e knows more about boiling snow than he does about (whatever the subject was at the time) meaning they didn't really have a clue !
"That would give your a**e the toothache" meaning is something i.e. a TV programme which was particularly bad !
There were so many more but thats all I can remember just now !0 -
