After all that - my Cow & Gates (Monday and Wednes) were found to be cheaper in A on their multibuy - so it was added to T PP vs A.

The "Forth Bridge" exercise (A vs M) has been going on - the Sada prices on my list will, at some point, be updated. You can check on MSM anyway.

That's all I can manage for tonight.:) I've still got more to go... but it's mainly biscuits to check (that seem to be coming out cheaper at T - or rather A vs T) but I suspect most of us have enough of them anyway.;) I just have a few more items to take from my prev. T vs M list and most likely transfer into the current T vs M list (now in the same post, details of where to find it are below). It's nearly complete (or as complete as it will get).

    Goodnight all.

And... you knew my first 'goodnight' wasn't quite the end... Smartprice Rice Pudding (400g) is still technically better A vs T due to the size of the product being recorded as 425g for T. Although M do have their equivalent, at 400g, also for 12p.

That's it; I'll let my previous message function as my sign-off.

If anyone is in Si1verburn G1asgow tomorow then there is a fridge at the end of an aisle with the Butchers selection smoked gammon in it. Very bottom shelf, right at the back are 2 labelled at full price £8.99 per kg instead of the SEL offer of £5.99 per kg.

After DTD you'll pay £3/kg for each one. I was tempted but would rather have it free so decided to leave them behind :rotfl:

Thanx guys for all your ideas keep them coming im so new at this he will be the first in our family to go to uni.
im not sure which uni he will pick nikki he has a place in all 5 that he put in for he is doing law and he thinks he may pick sheffield which is only 30 mins from me but the others are really far away
Im so very proud of him and i want to help him as much as i can

DS has plenty to think about when choosing. I always tell my students- are you town or country.
More specifically some can live in a small town uni others need a big city (I picked a rural one once and hated it big time)!
Some unis are more familar to employers (older big city unis - Russell grooup etc.)
Plus big cities outside Lodnon are more affordable than others, Bad reasons for choosing are ; friends or BFs or Gfs already going there.

Glad he's got so many choices - needs to consider it carefully and glad he's got the luxury of choice.

Well have caught up since this afternoon and been falling asleep and waking up several times. :o

Brand8, I would suggest not getting a kettle or toaster until your DS knows whether there is one in the kitchen at his halls. DD1 had neither but DD2 has a kettle already there so it does differ from uni to uni. Also in DD1s halls there was only room for 1 of each in the kitchen so they all clubbed together for one of each.

Has anyone mentioned a tin opener or two, something that is a must and tends to break easily. ;)

Stayed quite late with mum tonight, and we chatted quite a bit. It is so nice that she is quite bright in between the bad times.

Too tired to stay up anymore. Night all. :)
