Don't take this as gospel but I'm of a mind to think that the Mullers won't compare with Morrisons tomorrow because Morrisons is offline on a wednesday due to making price changes. Someone will correct this if it is wrong but I remember making a mistake a few weeks back by doing a shop on Wednesday and it all came back N/A against Morrisons. If correct then you will neneed to get down to Asda today for your mullers.
[...]
I've not heard before about shops on a Wednesday coming back all N/A vs M. However, I've never done shopping on a Wednesday morning (at least not vs M) and then checking the APG the same afternoon. The prices are, we are told, collected on Mondays and Wednesdays. If the prices collected for M are more than 7 days old, then the system will come back with no comparison vs M. However, there should be a price collection at least from the Monday that, I would have thought, wouldn't be anything near 7 days old. The difficult one seems to be a last Wednesday's collection to a shop done on Tuesday the following week, before the Monday's results (the day before the shop) are put into the system.
If you do a shop on a Wednesday, I would imagine the prices used, if entered before the APG update, should be those from the Monday. As far as I knew, shops on Wednesday weren't particularly risky - though the advice would be to wait until Thursday evening or Friday before entering the receipt (as the Wednesday prices should then be in the system) - otherwise, I would have thought, the Monday prices would be used (or Tuesday if the Monday is a Bank Holiday - bank hol Monday weeks collection is Tuesday and Wednes).
As far as price changes at M concerned, there isn't very much change between the Monday and the Wednesday. The big change is on the Monday itself, i.e. from the previous Wednesday. The offers end on Sundays and start Mon morning. The odd new one, or a price change up or down on a non-offer product, may happen on a Wednesday. There are occasional 'flashes' at the weekend, e.g. half price champagne, not sure if/how these are picked up by the APG. Would be resolved by the APG Team if customer contacts them (non-glitched shop wise).
I remember shopping late on a Mon evening and it turning out I'd shopped, somehow, before the price collection had been carried out and thus the Sunday's prices applied (the ones from the previous Wednes.). This was although the receipt was delayed entry until Tuesday. As far as I can tell, with Wednesday shops, you should be okay if you wait for the system to update with the Wednesday information first - thus checking your receipt on Thursday late night or afterwards - the APG can then go by the prices it has as of the date of your shop. Otherwise, I may be corrected too and be wrong, the Monday (or rarely, Tuesday) prices will apply. (There would be little change anyway between the Monday and Wednes pricing info.)
Of course, some of us, or yourself, might want to shop on a Monday but enter our receipt as soon as we can if we want the Sunday (i.e. last week's, from the Wednes collection) info. to be used on our comparison for any reason or none(!)0 -

I remember when...
yoghurts came in a big pot and you poured out a portion and the flavour was yoghurt flavour.
Then a few years later yoghurts were in individual pots and had real pieces of fruit added. Like strawberry.
These muller flavours bear little resemblance to real yoghurt IMHO.I'm a Forum Ambassador on the housing, mortgages & student money saving boards. Youngest son just rang as price checking pink moet for the 14th.
Wanted to know who ocado were as never heard of them.
Found him the £20 off £80 first shop and he has gone for
2 bottles of pink moet (posh box of course)
Posh pink truffles and bottle of gallo to get him over £80 mark
Total cost with delivery £65.
Delivery tomorrow night incase they run out nearer the time.
He is one happy bunny as with a dad and 2 brothers he will make a killing on the day off loading the other boxed moet as atleast one of them will have forgotten.
Tried to talk him into buying 4 of the white as extra 20% off but he is not quite mse enough for that yet.
So proud right now as he had already found that it is cheapest to buy from there.
For the price of 2 bottles he has got posh £10 chocs and bottle of gallo.
Remember his dad sending me 12 red rose on 14th in 1986, arrived at 7 am when I had just got poorly baby back to sleep. Was furious at that and  at the amount of money he had spent.
I then waited another 23 years for my next interflora delivery (not same man obviously ex hubby stuck to the local garage after that)
Right off to dream of overblown romantic gestures that never were:)

OVERCHARGED on my 10 muller yoghurts in asda tonight. Apparently according to cs I had a rogue one! Hope my apg is still going to work. On bottom of till receipt it stated 10 for £4 for the yoghurts and then the total was £4.40. I didn't buy anything else. I am sure someone else got overcharged when they bought20 since this glitch started, The rogue yogurt was the muller corner rasp and blackberry barcode ending 6643. All the others have got an L after the barcode. Got £2 gift card but just hope the apg still works!
Loads of mince pies from the bakery at tesco tonight for 10p. I still bought a few boxes even though my cupboard is full of mincemeat - just need to stop coming on here and do some home baking.0 -
please can I ask will Coke Zero be OK as well to put on the Sada v m list?Savvybuyer wrote: »It should be okay (although remember random items always fail to get picked up by the APG price scanning people and come back N/A vs M). The 2 for £2.50 offer (on the 2L), and other multibuys on various other sizes of Coca Cola at M, apply to "all varieties". M have Regular, Diet and Zero (I think in all of the pack sizes that are comparable from A to M on the APG). As for which sizes are comparable and which are not, an answer to that will have to wait a bit longer. I'll go through the updating process of my list and see what we end up with.:)
COKE ZERO 8 PACK N/A AGAINST MORRIBOBS!
I can confirm that the coke zero DOES NOT compare against morribobs so do not put that in with a muller shop...
my results from yesterday against sainbugs, first one against morribobs.

Many thanks - unfortunately I can't tell if this is because the Mon. info still (Tues night) hasn't been loaded into the system and, as a result it's still on last week's info (as used Wed (Thurs?)-Sun). It tempts me to check a second Morries tomorrow. We perhaps need to see (perhaps from wombles?) if this works tomorrow - it may be if the shops are first entered from tomorrow onwards, the price of £1.30 will be used. Or it may be they have collected 65p for this week (and, in a sense, a glitch being found - although it just gives you same result as if you'd shopped last week when the Whirls were indeed 65p in M). The info collected on Wednes. on this might change from what was collected on (supposedly) Mon.0 -
Lala..hope alfi is ok.
