Morning all. And thanks - sorry about this - they've got it nearly completely wrong haven't they? This is one for CS if you are out of pocket. The milk mix & match was always a risk - but I don't see why you can't do it. For weeks, the semi-skimmed x3 was showing N/A, last week it worked with 3 for £3 for M, but now (i.e. last week) the 3 x 1% version came back N/A. This week the scanning on the APG might pick up something totally else. Complain to Sada CS - although you'll probably need to settle for the non-glitch on the Mullers, hopefully they'll throw in an extra £5 for the inconvenience and the large mess-up. They may simply do that or they may investigate more - if they do that, it could take a lot longer but won't affect the glitch on here (assuming it is still working) as it will be some time and, by then, the APG system may start playing up again (I'm not sure they always know why or when it will glitch in this way, re. the Mullers). Best of luck.

My apologies - even though it's APG's fault. I would usu. divide an M shop, if there's glitching, into two - one a glitch shop another a non-glitch - though you need 8 different item on each. Looks like you'd then need a couple more different Mullers (still ten in total) and the rest, all the none-Muller, seems to add to 8 different.

Morning ,just a quickie,iv never done mullers shop before so do i have to buy other items too,pr is it 10 mullers is 10 different items .tia

  • Just to say that I did a Mullers shop yesterday and bought 20 in one transaction. Discount didn't come off as it should so went to CS. After 5 minutes and 4 SA's discussing the matter they agreed I should get the difference refunded. I also got my £2 card for the overcharge.
Spent £10.10, got £2.10 refunded, £2 card off next shop, APG of £7.64 and then sold the yoghurts to my sister for £2. So a profit of £3.64.
    Not a bad evenings shopping.

    Good morning all

Thank you to everyone for your kind words and advice last night about DS1's possible ear infection. After we managed to get him to have the calpol in his yoghurt drink he fell straight to sleep and managed to sleep through.

This morning he said his ear is better and seems fine so it looks like it was just a really bad earache thankfully but I will be keeping a close eye on him today as he isn't at nursery.

Need to go to the post office this morning and send some things we sold on ebay at the weekend. DS1 always loves this bit - taking his parcels to postman pat :)

I might still be tempted to take him to the doctors in case the pain has been relieved by his ear drum bursting x

What are the symptoms of an ear infection?
    • Earache is common but does not always occur.
    • Dulled hearing may develop for a few days.
    • High temperature (fever) is common.
    • Children may feel sick or vomit and can be generally unwell.
    • Young babies cannot point to their pain. One of the causes of a hot, irritable, crying baby is an ear infection.
    • Sometimes the eardrum bursts (perforates). This lets out infected mucus and the ear becomes runny for a few days. As the pain of earache is due to a tense eardrum, a burst eardrum often relieves the pain. A perforated eardrum usually heals within a few weeks after the infection clears.

You have to buy 10 Muller yoghurts, and ensure they are the varieties that will work. eg blueberry doesn't, muller rice doesn't.

If you buy 10 different flavours, then the APG will see each individual barcode as a different item, and you'll have the 8 or more items required, for the APG to be possible. You'll then not need to buy further items.

If however, say, you buy 5 of strawberry, and 5 of cherry, then the APG will only see 2 different items, so you then will need to top up your shopping with at least a further 6 items, but most of us would normally include 10 different items (including your yoghurts) to give a safety margin.
If you buy anything else with this shopping, that A's are cheaper than M's, then you will lose some of your APG value.
