I had custom made shelving put under my stairs and its great as stops you just throwing stuff under there. Please be careful not to put anything flamable like some cleaning products as if you were to have a house fire you don't want anything to speed up the staircase burning.
I just keep food stuff under there.
I remember when I used to have fire reports done on a nightclub I used to run and we were not allowed to store anything under the stairs at all due to fire risk.
Not something many people think about but really want us all to stay safe.
So please don't use to store anything that will light up quickly.

Vanillatwist thanks so much for the advice, I hadn't even considered the implications of it, you do hear such awful stories nowadays. I will keep food stuff and wine there instead! Thanks again xxI like glitching, I like glitching, I like glitching and I like to glitch.....................:j:j:j0 -

Spotted another couple of multibuys that are of interest. Some of the Old El Paso is on 3 for 2 in Sainsbugs and 2 for £2.50 in A's so if I bought 6 in A's it may compare favourably.0 -

To be fair, some people (not saying anyone on here I might add) are a bit quick to snaffle an unattended trolley!
A couple of months ago at Tesco I unloaded my trolley at the start of the checkout and forgot to takie my trolley through, packed walked about yards with my shopping, realised and went back to the checkout and my trolley was gone and nobody knew anything about where it went:rotfl:One of them was guilty:rotfl:"Sealed Pot challenge" member No. 138

Wow! Another big post now finished ---[1.12 am]
Whilst updating some of my privately-held lists, I've noticed these on MSM:
Ragu Lasagne Sauce - Red (500g)96p
Ragu Pasta Sauce - Traditional (500g)96p
Ragu Lasagne Sauce - White (475g)96p
Ragu Original Smooth Bolognese Sauce (454g)96p
Ragu Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce (400g)99p
Ragu Tomato & Chilli Pasta Sauce (400g)99p
Ragu Tomato and Mushroom Pasta Sauce (400g)99p
Ragu Tomato and Pecorino Cheese Pasta Sauce (400g)99p
Ragu Tomato and Sweet Peppers Pasta Sauce (400g)99p
This is very complicated, so here goes...
There are some sauces on my Av M list, so my first thought was 'I've got this wrong, as M is £1 on its sauces and these [the above] vs T might be better'. Then I first I checked the MSM price comparison on - the two 500g ones at the top of the list - are N/A in A, so I actually got it right (I thought), leading me on to possible fillers if doing T v A (please now see below on that, and this led on, in turn, to Sv T regarding those stocked in T, NA in A but avail. in S!)
Below, I'm posting a T vs A list, but also including S prices so the list is a S vs T list too (and a filler on the S vs T also shown, with no prices for T). But, before I get there, on the Ragu: it's more complex - the Lasagne Red and the Pasta Traditional (the 500gs) are both N/A for A on MSM. They're 96p in T therefore fillers for T vs A (subject to my note of caution below).
But... the Ragu Tomato & Basil Pasta Sauce and the Ragu Tomato & Chilli Pasta Sauce are available in both A and T. They're £1 A vs 99p T, so about 89p each (after APG) - but they're 400g not 500g. (Someone can work out the per per g on everything and tell us which is better - T 96p NA A on the 500g or A 89p vs T on the 400g?
The two at the bottom, namely Ragu Tomato and Pecorino Cheese Pasta Sauce and Ragu Tomato and Sweet Peppers Pasta Sauce, both 400g again, are the same pricing Avs T, so 89p equivalent again.
Now, here's where the complexity increases...
The Ragu Lasagne Sauce - White (475g) and the Ragu Original Smooth Bolognese Sauce (454g) are both 96p in T. Taking the last of these first, A stocks the Original Smooth Bolognese, so that's Avs T's 96p - 10% lower than 96p, whatever that is - but it's for 454g not 500g. So is 96p straight at T, for 500f non-comps, still better?
And then the complexity goes up a stage more...
However, A also stocks Ragu White Lasagne Sauce, but of a different size to T. But T's is bigger and it's within the 10% weight range from A's. So 96p at T for 475g, but... Ragu White Lasagne Sauce 454g in A, goes 10% cheaper than the price at T would be if the 475 were a 454. So it's compared to slightly lower than 96p and 10% off. Maybe 454g for 10% cheaper than lower than 96p (96p divided by 475 multiply by 454) is better than 96p straight for non-comp. 500g at T?
Again, someone will finish off these complex sums for us - and reveal the effective prices per 100g on all the Ragu combinations above.
(Ragu Lasagne Sauce - White (475g) on the T side of MSM does say N/A for A and everywhere else, so maybe this is a glitch not in our favour. Ragu White Lasagne Sauce 454g (for A) has this:£1.00
£1.93
£1.99
N/A
N/A
It should give a price for T, as T's is within 50% weight up or down - MSM.co.uk uses 50%, the APG however uses 10% weight range. It's within 10% so should compare on the APG but, given the N/A on MSM.co.uk...)
T vs A possible 'fillers'
[I've put quotation marks as these prices (I'm referring to the cut-price offer prices) are quite expensive - well, more expensive than 10p anyway, except for the stock cubes:]
All of these should be N/A for A (S vs T in bold): Prices are for T (or perhaps lunch or dinner or breakfast too:rotfl::rotfl:) (except for ones in brackets with an S in front of them, which might just be Sains. folks!:rotfl:)

Remember don't exceed £10 difference, on either T PP or S BM.
S prices are only shown when we might be buying, or buying equivalent own brand, in S.
My note is for you to please check A's website (before including on Tvs A as above is going from MSM (and we know how accurate/reliable this can be)). If shopping in T, don't pay any more than the above prices (unless your SEL still has them and you are charged more).
Please check T's website for prices, any changes, if doing Svs T (again this is because above is from MSM).
*But WW Wraps (6) is 67p in T and is A vs T - resulting in 10% lower than 67p (or wait for DTD possibility in T once price goes up from 67p). Do not put on T PP vs A!
++ I thought I saw Sains at £6.15 on the Garniers. Sadly, it's Superdrug at that price (on MSM at least; Superdrug £5.65 on the Hydralock on MSM).0 -
