looking for something we want/need that is comparing well
Probably best give it another hour to see if anyonone brings any more positive news and if not, either take a risk and bash it in hope, or wait for another day.:)0 -

Goes to get jacket and car keys...
Oh bingers, my wife is still out in the car. Why oh why do I keep telling her that we don't need 2 cars??:mad:0 -
just checking msm and if it is working for the coke heads out there
8 packs of coke in asda
£4.48 each 2 for £7 against Sainsburys £3.85 2 for 1
so 4 packs at asda £14 apg sees just under £18 against £7.70 at S
so roughly £11 apg if it is working on a £14 spend
32 cans for £3 plus fillers :cool:When The Fun Stops Stop0 -

Hello all! Long time lurker here. I did pop my head through the door once at the beginning of September last year when I last had something useful to say, but haven't found a single useful thing to say since. However, here's a bit of information that may be of use to someone looking for fillers/extras on a A v M shop (because there seems to be quite a bit of A v M shopping going on just now for some reason;)).
I nipped into M's to price a few things up on my way to A's today. It's a bit of a limited list, because it's just stuff that I was looking to buy. These are the prices I found (with the disclaimer that it's still 2 hours till I get the APG, so I don't yet know what has compared; I'll update if anything shows differently on the APG):
M's Canned Butter Beans 69p (A - 68p) (Edit: APG showed M price as 67p)
M's Vegetable Oil 1 litre £1.59 (A - £1.50)
M's Sunflower Oil 1 litre £1.59 (A- £1.50)
M's own brand equivalent of Shreddies 750g £1.49 (A - £1.38)
Nestle Shreddies 750g £1.59 (A - £2)
M's Savers Canned Chopped/Plum Tomatoes 31p (A - 31p)
M's Savers Porridge Oats 1kg 75p (A - 75p)
I also couldn't find any M's Savers passata, so assume that it's safe to buy A's Smartprice Passata on a vs M shop (Edit: confirmed; A's Smartprice salted peanuts also came back N/A)
Not sure that I've set that out in the most user-friendly manner, but hope that it's of use to someone.0 -

Oh that's good
I wasn't sure as think I read yesterday - was very fast skim though - that someone had trouble with both the £2.10 discounts coming off?
2 lots of 40p and £2.10 came off, but not the 2nd £2.10.0 -
came up as £5.08/na
is it really sad that i am so excited about this but even more so that i feel now i have earnt the right to be on the elite thread
You don't have to earn the right but qualifications should include being a bit 'nutty' (no offence meant) but because of your name, it looks like you have already qualified!:p0
