It all depends on how confident you are when dealing with CS. There are plenty of stock answers/excuses to explain why you didn't notice the overcharge but the braver just say no I didn't notice.
Unfortunately with a multibuy there is no way to test whether it is working or not but if it doesn't work in your favour then you can just get a refund at CS (e'g DW has just phoned to say they have already bought it, got the wrong stuff etc)
The surest way, but not open for us all, is to find a T that you know is on the ball to check that the offer has been withdrawn and then try and find one that hasn't changed the SEls. Means though that you have to have a few Ts within easy striking distance.and if all else fails head office has been fine with me in the past
