Only thing Ive found with all ex bats Ive had is that they lay eggs brilliantly at first, every day mostly. Then when winter comes they stop and none of mine have ever started laying again after that. I don't mind...I always reckon they've done their bit on egg production

Hi Fairclaire,

Yes very tempted. But they were free to roam anywhere as I was far too soft with them and I used to spend more time tidying up after them. I think I will leave it until next year and see how life in the allotment is without them.(I would plant and they would dig up:))

Yes I got a cute friendship bracelet and a photo of the old guy from the vending machine people.

I was feeling really pleased with myself this morning as I found a £1 coin in my cubicle when I went swimming, only to be outdone when DH got home and announced that he wombled a tenner when he popped to the shops near work at lunchtime. Incidentally, the cubicle next to the one I used had a chocolate cupcake left sitting on the bench. Bizarre.
