Dd 1 has just asked if she can move back home as struggling financially - need to tell her the spare room is full of dishwasher tabs washing powder, bubble bath 5 beans etc..... ds has her old room as its bigger.
Had interview at work this week and been offered a job. My job will not exist anymore from April and new job is same pay for 2 years but lower status. My assistant has been promoted to same level as me so she's happy. Really sad cos I've got a fantastic team and I've decided to move to a different location which is nearer to home. Means I'll not retain any of them - but then it would have been impossible to loose some and keep some. But dreading telling them!
But save 2 hours a day travelling time so more time for glitching :rotfl::hello: The grass is not greener, it just looks that way from a distance :hello:0 -
Hi all. Haven't been aorund in ages, first work kept me extra busy, then went on holiday, came back to extra busy work + started a short uni course that keeps me even mroe occupied. Am loving it, though.
Have a quick question if any of you lovely people can answer: I'm about to pop to sainsburys to see if I can nab some cheap towels (there's a thread on grabbit saying there's 70% off towels there) and I'd liek to use my nectar points to pay for them. Looked on the nectar points page and they say the card must have been swiped in store in the previous 24h. Does that mean I can't just walk to the till and use it? Where would I be able to swipe it to activate it? Any ideas, shiny people?GC September 2012 - £49.04/£80 |GC October 2012 - £50.28/£80 |GC November £63.59/£60 (one adult only)0 -

I'm not too good with nectar points and don't know about having to have it swiped but I remember trying to use points to buy something once and being told I couldn't because it wasn't my home store. Don't know if that is still the case. Hopefully someone else will be along to help soon.0 -
Random question for you knowledgeable people. DS1 has developed a love for raisins, I know too much of some fruits can cause blockage / looseness anyone know if I should be limiting his raisin intake? He'd happily eat handful after handful if he could
dd loved/loves raisins, be careful if you have cats though as they are toxic to cats, our kitty at the time ate some she dropped onto the floor and went a bit woozy resulting in a trip to the vets linky to RSPCA advice here (couldn't find it on the UK site)"We have to be kind because everyone is fighting a great, great battle" - Sir Richard Attenborough

Thanks, Tazoo. That's a bit annoying, I don't go to sainsburys often since it takes two buses to get there but have the points due to being a British Gas client for a year. Might have to just pay cash for the towels, if there' any left!GC September 2012 - £49.04/£80 |GC October 2012 - £50.28/£80 |GC November £63.59/£60 (one adult only)0 -

I've never heard of this before, maybe buy something small first then use your points for the towels?"Don't go where the path may lead,go where there is no path and leave a trail"Anthony Robbins0 -

Sat in car in sada carpark. Couldn't resist going for more persil wul
after work and had a look at the toothpaste because i remembered
someone saying about a triple pack for £1.50. Ok so not new but
I did get some. Details are :
Colgate MaxWhite Shine 75ml 3 pack
Wrapped together in clingfilm type oackaging with a yellow
"Value 3-Pack!" Label on one side.
The only barcode is on the side of one of the toothoaste boxes
and they scanned at £1. That barcode is 8714789832760
