Cherish those you have in your life because you never know when they won't be there anymore.

I would hate to think we had had to pay for all our vets bills :eek:rather than just 10% would probably be a freegan by now ;)

Dont know the exact figure but would say roughly £9-10,000 on Bailey and £500 on Dex.

We use More Than and they have paid out everytime.
I know I bang on about this but they have been great, costs vary depending on breed etc but for our springers £180-£200 each per year.

Pet insurance is crazy. Initially I paid £120 for Star. Now they want £332 for lifetime policy with 10k year treatment threshold. Although there is excess and have pay certain % of the vets bills as she is over 8. Every time i swap the next year policy is loaded. It appears insurance used be based on accessing risks taking into consideration many variables. Now insurance is based on no risk and just profit. Btw I'm with John Lewis ATM.

    Morning
No goose loose this morning sorry:(
Glad it made you giggle, my best friend always says if they made my life into a soap opera it would get pulled as it's unbelievable :p:D Even things you think are impossible happen to me.

Lala hugs to Alfie and you. My dog had a lump removed at a similar age to Alfie and was fine after. She didn't like the cone thingie so I bought her girls t shirts (pink) to wear to cover the stitches. When I washed it and dried it on the radiator she used to lie watching it crying. My Dad had to walk her wearing it he felt a right prat.:D

Hugs to all doggies and humans who need them.
Hope everyone has a good day.

    That is a brilliant idea:T:T

David I have definately learnt a lesson.Trouble was when I got him I was so unMSE, I used to spend money like water and just thought insurance was a waste:o I've been lucky in that hes got to 11 1/2 and not had many vet bills but have a feeling this is going to cost a small fortune:( but he's worth it:)I would never have another pet now without insurance.

    morning all,
haven't been around for a while but did see the dishwasher tabs last night and rushed out.....I went to a manned till and told him they were on offer and should only cost £5-6 for six.
He commented that £50 was a lot to start off with and I replied "Tesco fake prices, you know"
Oh yes he said and happily took my money!!
