Bananababe wrote: »Morning all. I can't believe how miserable I have been feeling with Little Miss being away on holiday with school.
I have heard from her and she is very happy. I have just felt like Empty. I thought I would enjoy the free time but its been howling with wind and rain and all I have done is eat !!
I'm going to try and drag myself out this afternoon.
Anyway silly really. Love to all. Hugs all round xx
Not sure what age your dd is Bananababe but my dd is 12. When she goes away I miss her so much too. What I do is keep busy by doing something to surprise her when she gets back. Depending how long she is away is there something you can do like this that would be a surprise for her when she returns. I have in the past changed the border in her bedroom, tidied her room, made something like a new cushion cover for her bed. hth :A
