3 dogs u practically have me in tears,
:(:( like seriously. My mum talks to my gran who passed away many yrs ago...amazing lady she was. I'll confess, so do I, she just was that amazing a person, cannot forget her
Like to think she can see me, see what I'm doing and feel proud of me...maybe she can't but hope there is a higher being just for this reason.
Oh gosh look at what u did there, I crack silly jokes on here and be dizzy blondie me, but u made me all:( Must say though I feel how u feel him...can feel it in your words, you are amazingly strong, I admire you:A
Arh shucks FF thank youMy problem, and what gets me really depressed when I am back home and not with my family/friends is that I can't 'feel Mr 3Dogs with me' and I feel cheated about it
People say that they feel their lost ones with them, but I don't
Sorry if upsetting people, but when he passed away in the hospital it was like someone flicked a switch and he was gone. I didn't even stay with him for too long as 'he just wasn't there any more' and a big hole opened up in me
I had a discussion about heaven and hell with friends, who said he is up there watching me, but I can't accept a 'heaven' as it is not logical. I mean, say you lost a child, but you lived till you were old, you would be old but they would still be young? Or you lost a spouse, but later married again, would you end up in heaven with both of them? Tricky situation   Trying to be light-hearted about it, as ever, but ................... actually, must be getting better at this, because, though my eyes are definitely moist, no tears have appeared and I am actually smiling as I type
If you've lost someone this will make you cry but in a nice way

Goodnight all
You know, I heard this song the other day, by 1D, and loved it ..... I surprised myself  They are my 7 year old great-niece's favourite
Loved the other link, thank you. I love the story-telling of country music :Tblondynurse wrote: »3DOGS

Glad he got through Christmas OK as been thinking about him and you
Mr 3Dogs' ashes are still at the funeral directorsI am not sure yet what to do with them. I know that I don't want them at the local crem, as I would hope to move back up home/North at some point and I wouldn't want to leave him down here
Will probably scatter them off North Shields/Tynemouth pier
It took me 2 years to scatter my husband's ashes. When we felt we were ready (our children and me, his brothers and their kids) we got together for a weekend at his childhood town, and at midnight on his birthday we went down to the beach and scattered the ashes on the breaking waves. It wasn't easy to say goodbye (I had to have several whiskeys beforehand!) but when woke up in the morning there was a tremendous sense of relief - and release. You will know when the time is right. xx0 -

My mum had made a funeral plan so we just followed that. Whatever decision you make will be the right one. xxx0 -

Thanks FloFlo :AI'm watching 'Mount Pleasant' on the last episode of the series, been watching them all in one sitting on Sky demand. Really enjoyed it, Bobby Ball is good in it.
Never seen it, but not fussed on Bobby Ball so that might be why:rotfl:Enjoy

On that note, I have found myself watching much more tv since I got rid of Sky  I watched Impact and Matrix last night, seen them both before but still enjoyed, and I watched the new Person of Interest on ch 5 tonight, which was ok and will watch to see how it developes before I make a decision on it
At least I still have my fall-back channel of Sky News, which I have on most of the time
