I went to tosco come back and new thread:j Thanks QOC.
See I was the top gasbagging female on the last thread....well if you can call Mrs Brown female.
See the wee red bag of lindt balls on clipstrip (barcode 8043) scans at 50p. Does anybody know if a multibuy kicks in on these as well. They used to be 2 for something. At 50p they are too expensive for me:Dnever stop doing your best because someone doesn't give you credit0 -

No idea about multibuy but I'm hoping they go to 1p on 30/1/13. Loads of xmas SELS just say RTC but some say expire 29/1/13.
Fingers crossed. Easter chocs went to 1p the day after an advertised yellow SEL expiry dateApparently, everybody knows that the bird is [strike]the word[/strike] a moorhen0 -

Evening all
Thank you to qoc for the new thread. Heres to it being the lovely place the last thread was.
Tinyshoes hope your mum is in less pain and and all is not to traumatic for her.
Hugs for those feeling ill or blue.
Sainsbobs this morning to collect my prescription and would have been rude not to see what the score was on the fish.
I simply asked the fishmonger to explain 'free fish friday' to me.
He said that they were encouraging people to try fish with a more sustainable source. Pointed to the selection with green sel. One free portion of mussela and 3 knobs of garlic butter. They were very nice but complaint coming as was assured they had been washed and beards removed. Sadly the little mights were in need of a ladyshave glitch. As hands very arthritic this time of year I was quite
annoyed and said mussels kept slipping out of my hands.
Finely chopped onions fried with free garlic butter, added to pan of mussels, glitchy rose (whites I have are too nice for cooking) steamed. Served with gluten free crackers as busy day so no time tomake bread.
Must admit was a very nice change and will buy in future but will make fishmonger open and remove beards.
BMF came oved today as he had urology appointment nearby so went with him. Very impressed, 3 weeks from referral and seeing consultant at private hospital.
Not so impressed as appears there may be trouble ahead. Back in 2 weeks for test results.
He then drove me round to collect mr shoes order and I popped into hmv to use
up gift card that I got free before christmas in their promotion.
Despite problems ahead we had a lovely day catching up and comparing our latest dates. We met online a couple of years ago, were chatting and he had a sudden heart attack (43!). Me being me rushed up to hospital via t's to get essentials for him. At this point we had not met. Made a great friend.
Right off to catch up on old thread. Had busy few days so lots of rest over weekend i think.
Naenbriac hope all goes well. You now know why I have such praise for the Harvey.
