Nor in mine they go in brown wheelie bin
We don't even get a brown wheelie bin, we have one for rubbish and one for paper. We recycle all the rest at the local village. More often than not people will pull up with a trailer laden with empty bottles
They've either had a party or......Something unexpected happened which made me smile and still continues to make me smile.

Much needed as I seem to have mislaid my T mojo at the moment. Need a decent crop of new T in house mag mocs too please
Ipicked up a discarded booklet of those coupons and used a few today(one mans litter....). Do the 50 extra points for buying beer go on to my card or to the card of the owner of the booklets card? I scanned my card with it.

Well I'm back home and they've only broke the jug I use to fill their water bowls and shredded a kitchen roll. I ignored them, unlocked the kitchen door for them to go out to the toilet then carried on cleaning up the bits of paper and the remains of the plastic jug. Only once this was done and they were sitting in their beds did I put their dinner out. They sat there waiting until I told them to get it. Ruby just stayed in her bed looking at me then began to eat slowly but the male just gobbled his food as usual.
I actually think that this has made them realise they've done something wrong as they've settled quicker than usual and are now lying on the floor, she's at my feet and he's lying by the door into the hall :TWe too have the same problem - a neighbour, whose kittens I ended up with - then got a Yorkshire Terrier. It is just left in the garden to bark & bark & bark. In the summer none of us could use our back gardens
:( as she just goes out & leaves it - one night it was 1am. If she bothered to walk the dog to tire it out it wouldn't bark as it would be asleep. But No she's not walked it since the first few months - mind you her kids are feral
:(
This is no reflection on my friend Spiralling Up as I know you care deeply for your dogs & only want the best ♥
:T:T:T This was my Dog Bible - brilliant - the 5 minute ignore & the not saying goodbye & just leaving - such simple but obvious tips:D:D
I take no offence at all Snap-ant, I know it wasn't aimed at me. I know I look after my dogs and try not to have them left for very long periods of time. I just want to do my best for them and for them to be happy.SPC #329 £471/£500 banked

Spirallingdown, may I recommend a book, "The Dog Listener" by Jan Fennell. We read it some years ago and have found it invaluable.:T:T:T This was my Dog Bible - brilliant - the 5 minute ignore & the not saying goodbye & just leaving - such simple but obvious tips

I totally agree. One tip we found invaluable - and it sounds bonkers - was pretending to eat out of our dogs' bowls before we fed them, when they were young and we first got them. Food is essential and in the wild the alpha male and female eat first, to preserve their strength and allow them to lead and protect the pack. Sounds nuts, but I promise you it works.Show the dog in its language what's what, and the result is happiness all round.

Now I thought Savvy was a man or even still is :rotfl::rotfl:way to organised
You're right - I am indeed a man (and always have been, except when I was a boy), although I notice this thread is outnumbered by the number of female posters on here - perhaps because 'savvy shopping' (or even shopping) tends to appeal more to women than to men, always had some feminine side to my outwardly 'butch' personality. I like the double meaning behind your comment "way too organised". That's maybe part of the problem - my organised approach tonight just baffles everyone else in my household.
Clearly I'm way too wrong(!):rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:in how I'm going about my washing etc.0 -
And have been catching up on the RSH/Sun voucher promo - even more of a fiasco than usual
:rotfl:There are going to be a lot of unhappy people tomorrow I think. Looks like a lot of the posts on the Student MoneyTips fb site have been removed - they are a majorly "resourceful" bunch over there and I have my doubts as to whether any codes received but not banked will still work.
