Thank you for posting this. It is definitely worth checking the ACM as I had a 25% off toothpaste voucher to print so only paid 30p for 2 tubes.

Wonder how that works cos I bought 4 and used a 25% off and it was 92p.

    May try again tomorrow.

The voucher states 1coupon per transaction but it also says one item per coupon. I printed out 2 coupons so if my hunch is right then you'd be better splitting into 2 transactions and get the discount twice so 60p for 4. I'm not that brave and 92p is a great price anyway.

I'm genuinely interested to know what the other 'questionable' ingredients are though,

Aqua,Hydrated Silica ,Glycerin ,Sorbitol ,Titanium Dioxide ,Sodium Lauryl Sulfate ,Xanthan Gum ,Disodium Phosphate ,Sodium Monofluorophosphate ,Sodium Saccharin ,Aroma ,Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan) ,Calcium Glycerophosphate ,Limonene ,Contains: Sodium Monofluorophosphate 0.8% w/w (1000 ppm Fluoride)

Just google each ingredient and read about them. I would not use this if you PAID me to to use it. for example:

Hydrated Silica - damages enamel as its too tough. Silica's hardness is about 7 (quartz) and tooth is 5 (apatite) So you can see that Silica is more abrasive than a tooth and can thus wear it away.

Carrageenan - A clinical study conducted by Wakabayashi found that rodents were fed daily with a 5% carrageenan aqueous solution had a 100% incidence rate of colon metaplasis after 15 months.

SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) - its the stuff they use in car washes etc to create the foam effect. It is one of skins biggest irritants and causes eye damage even when applied to the skin, and to see it also in baby shampoo's nevermind toothpaste just sums up today's world.

I got 2 yesterday for 62p but only had a 10% off voucher, used that and got them for 49p :) Thanks OP. And thanks for the info about the ingredients, but surely if it was that harmful and caused any danger to any child it would of been pulled from the shelves years ago?!

This thread just highlights to me that this country is full of sheep. Here is someone offering you advice on what could possibly be a product harmful to your children, yet she/he is being criticised and people are more interested in saving a few pence than spending a few hours doing some research. Too much like hard work for you? Personally I wouldn't dream of using products with SLS in my mouth, and don't get me started on fluoride. What is wrong with people?

My husband was worried about SLS in toothpastes etc but its very hard to find toothpaste without it! anyway just because it makes foam in other cleaning products doesn't mean its poison!

    "Possibly"

Quite a big word. I don't see any critism here, i just see people asking about it. I don't appreciate your tone as i find it slightly insulting, not just to myself but to other posters. My comment was merely a question as i don't understand why if it was so dangerous it would still be sold. I understand there are things that get sold which shouldn't, but i haven't heard anything about the toothpaste causing any danger. Your post hasn't given any positive input to the original post which was about a bargain. This isn't the place for personal comments which can cause offence to the people who are buying this grabbit.

I don't mean to sound horrible or cause offence in anyway.

    Still working today, thanks OP!

Though there was no promotion displayed at all in boots  but hey ho!

4 x milk teeth total £1.20 for 4 after 10% discount, so 30p each plus I paid with my gift card from the argos promo so I essentially got another 25% off! :D
