sorry to moan! but please you should not buy this for your children or adults.

Aqua,Hydrated Silica ,Glycerin ,Sorbitol ,Titanium Dioxide ,Sodium Lauryl Sulfate ,Xanthan Gum ,Disodium Phosphate ,Sodium Monofluorophosphate ,Sodium Saccharin ,Aroma ,Chondrus Crispus (Carrageenan) ,Calcium Glycerophosphate ,Limonene ,Contains: Sodium Monofluorophosphate 0.8% w/w (1000 ppm Fluoride)

At least 3 of the above ingredients I have researched thoroughly and the results were scary.

    The alternatives are
    Green People http://www.greenpeople.co.uk/organic-toothpaste.aspx

    or Weleda Childrens Tooth Gel

there are also a few other brands out there that are made with natural ingredients.

I would completely agree with OP about at least one of the ingrediants, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. It is basically the ingrediant that makes the bubbles when brushing your teeth. It is exactly the same ingrediant (and same job) in floor cleaners/washing up liquids/shampoo etc, the list goes on and on.
I used to suffer with HORRENDOUS mouth ulcers, 10+ at a time every few months. I couldn't talk or eat and was in soooo much pain. I went to several docs who said hormones, fact of life, diet etc. did a bit of a google one day and discovered the evils of SLS. Now I use toothpastes without it (most sensodyne & oral B pastes not specialised brands at all) and get one ulcer a year and they are more an inconveniece then the agonising pain I used to suffer.

Sorry for the rant :D but wanted to share.

It's alright, only one of my kids has grown a tail so far and I keep it well hidden, so the side effects aren't so bad....

Thanks for pointing out the toothpaste glitch, bubbs

I just got some using a 10% off toothpaste Coupon from the ACM ;)

FYI to glasgow MSErs. I go the last four in si1verburn. So you'll either need to ask for more from store room or try another store. Sorry but it was all they had

Thanks for sharing your experience! I don't think anyone should feel the need to apologise for trying to benefit others based on their own experience or acquired knowledge and I'm always grateful to everyone who contributes around here (as long as they're polite!)

I'm genuinely interested to know what the other 'questionable' ingredients are though, as mentioned by berbastrike, in order to help me make an informed decision on this and other products....if anyone can shed any light pls.

Thanks to the OP also. Buy 1 get 3 free is a fab grabbit for anyone choosing to buy! :)

Thank you for posting this. It is definitely worth checking the ACM as I had a 25% off toothpaste voucher to print so only paid 30p for 2 tubes.
