Paid travel time???

Yep that's about right, I get paid 10p travel allowance per call, and then minimum wage the time I'm in there. You myself, and others getting travel pay are lucky to be getting anything for travelling at all. Find yourself a better job, unless you can afford this one. That's what I'm trying to do. Good luck with it.Debt Starting: £1995 | Current Debt: £1105

There are care companies that pay for your travel time between clients. As I only need to work for around 16 hours a week, I'm just about to start working for one as a support worker on a very part time basis and they pay travel time at the full hourly rate plus 40p mileage. It's a charity that offers supported housing/living etc.
Don't know what area you live in but pm me for the details of the company if you want, they may be recruiting in your area. I also know of another organisation that is recruiting with similar employee benefits, might be of some use?'The only thing that helps me keep my slender grip on reality is the friendship I have with my collection of singing potatoes'
