Mortgage offer in principle & name change

First time poster, thanks in advance for any feedback.

I have an agreement in priciple from my bank for a mortgage. I have since found out that need to amend the spelling of my name (my name was misspelt on my birth certificate and I now intend to amend it so that my surname is spelt the same as the rest of the family).

My question is, will amending the spelling of my name impact on the bank offering me a mortgage? Nothing else has changed. Might the the name change have any other implications on my ability to get credit in future? Any feedback gratefully received. Many thanks
