don't football shirts have 'expiry dates' these days
i'm sure i saw thaton some shirts a few years back - so you know when you buy it if its gonna be replaced in the near future0 -
the guy in jjb told me this shirt was gonna be used till late 20080

The England away shirt covers the 2006-2008 seasons. Normally they change the shirt about Feb/March so expect about 9 months use.
The short sleeve shirt is only £19.99 on the FA's own online store. So not too huge a bargain.0 -

Got a Real Madrid home shirt with beckham 23 printed on the back last week from my local sport shop for only a £10!they said they wanted to get rid of them seen as he is off to La Galaxy, still a bargain and if madrid win la liga this season quite a good souvenir type shirt to own.CARLISLE UNITED FC SUPPORTER

What’s the deal?
JJB are selling the current England adult 06/08 Away short-sleeve shirt (the red one) for £13.49. This is a good price considering when they first hit the shops, these were a huge £45.
Were not JJB part of the Price Fixing Scandal along with others concerning England and Man Utd footie shirts a couple of years ago ? That's why they were £45 ! I believe another court case is pending against them.
On principal I wouldn't buy anything from them, no matter how cheap it seemed. I'm surprised Martin is advocating buying from them !
EDIT : having done 10 seconds research it seems they have been fined £8.4million by the OFT reduced to £6.3million on appeal for their part in the scam.0 -
a bit late now i know however in the january sales i purchased the same red england shirt from debenhams for £5. this wasnt a one off either, there were a least 100 on the rack0
