No one is talking about Payday loan here.....we are talking about proper loans....large sum & money in the bank within minutes. Concerning your application....well you will not achieve much by complaining. Have you checked your credit report to see if they have performed a search on your file? Might be worth trying with a different lender....

The first response mentioned payday loans.

I passed the credit check and the "affordability test" on the first phone call - all they needed from there was a signature and the supporting documentation.

    I've supplied all this.

I just want to know if this is usual/reasonable for a self employed applicant.

With regards to complaining, if it can encourage Natwest to do better for the future, it is worth it. If they ignore it and do nothing, I may as well switch to another bank. So far, it's been everything BUT "helpful banking".

You've been waiting a month....and you call that "helpful banking"....yeah right!!!
Self employed or not considering that all documents have been provided then it is unreasonable to be waiting that long....considering that most lenders will process applications & release funds within few days....

I maintain your question was UNCLEAR.....a payday loan is also considered as an unsecured loan....so get your fact right if you want your request/questions answered correctly....no need to make silly comments as you said!!
Anyway you've had all the answers that you need....what do you expect? A miracle? Should I call Napwest for you?

Hence why I clarified that the question was not about payday loans...

I would take you up on your offer to call "Napwest" for me, but I fear your linguistic skills would only hinder my quest to obtain a loan.

    But thanks anyway.

"Napwest"....you haven't got....have you?? Don't worry about my linguistic skills....I would certainly not have waited over a month for a response.

And if you had read all the responses....you would have noticed that 99% of them had nothing to do with payday loans......Director....god I would not want to be one of your employee....

Another sentence that makes no sense - perhaps you should have a day off? I do love an oxymoronic post though, now and again.

But yes, obviously I got your joke - it was that simple.

Presumably that's because you're a peasant and desperate for the money. Waiting a month is no problem for me - I just thought the delay was unusual.

Now, do you have anything else to add, or shall we leave it there? Actually, your ego is clearly so inflated, I bet you won't be able to resist having the last word....
