Newbie Struggling with the beginnings of Bankruptcy

Hi all - my name is Paul and i'm new to this site although i have been looking from the sidelines for sometime now.
Bit of a long story but i thought it might help to explain where i am in the grand scheme of things...
Around 5 or so years ago i split from my long term girlfriend who we part owned the 1 bed ground floor maisonette we both lived in, she kindly let me keep living in the flat as she wanted a clean break and let me buy her out - which i did.... And an Interest only Northern Rock 'Together' mortgage and attached unsecured loan was recommended by my IFA, "Great" i thought, fresh start....
Well 5 years down the line with the cost of living getting greater and wages decreasing/staying the same and being in and out of jobs i was finding it harder and harder to support myself, more and more was going on credit and i was constantly robbing Peter to pay Paul, so last July i thought enough was enough and cursed myself that i hadn't thought of bankruptcy earlier on as the last 5yrs i have lost my hair AND gone grey!
I used Google to search my options and where to start and it led me here where i further searched what to do, first thing was first - phone CCCS. I rang them, went through an income & expenditure and after a long call it was advised that the best course of action for me was to go bankrupt as the other option would of meant that i would of still been repaying my debts well into my 50s!
I was also advised to find rented accommodation before commencing with the bankruptcy as eventually the flat would be repossessed and it would be difficult to find somewhere to live after this had happened and that i should stop paying my creditors so i found a nice 2 bed flat 15min down the road from me and set the ball rolling to move out, it was £50pm more than my flat and i was gaining an extra bedroom as I'd also found out i was going to become a daddy  It was quite an emotional wrench leaving my maisonette, it held so many memories for me with friends, family and especially my ex-partner as it was our first place together
I rang CCCS to clarify i was doing what i should be doing and it was explained to me that if i wanted to do so i could 'Voluntary Surrender' my flat to Northern Rock which i did using a letter template i found on this site, i received an acknowledgment from NR accepting my letter but explaining this was something i couldn't do.... Then i got the 'letters' I've read so much about on here - Of course i signed NOTHING! :rotfl: And since then the flat has had a repossession order placed on it in December.
So, new place found, friends blackmailed into helping and i moved without a hitch and had my mail redirected into my new pad! :j Unfortunately luck was not on my side as I'd moved into a small war between my landlord and the girl who lived downstairs! I was there 3-4wks before i gave my notice and wanted out! I had enough on my plate without that as well.... So a pleading wanted ad went out on Facebook and my luck prevailed! A friends brother who is a landlord bought properties, renovated them and then rented them out - but this one wasn't going to be ready for a while which meant all my household being put into storage and moving in with a friend for a couple of months but it was the same monthly cost as my original maisonette and was a 3 bed house - More space for growing children and allowed the babies mother to stay over should the need arise.
Then October came around and i got the thumbs up to move in, which i did and I'm happy to say I love it here! Baby is due on the 12th Feb, back in July/August with the news of impending fatherhood my parents paid for me to do my HGV Class 1 licence so it would open a few more doors to earning more as i was pretty much at the top of my career ladder driving HGV Class 2 lorries, apparently babies cost quite a bit...?!
So I handed my notice in in my previous job and left on 31st Oct and started working for an agency that supplied drivers to the local Asda distribution depot.... This wasn't a smooth transition as i thought it would be! 99.9% of companies that take on new drivers require 2 years or more as a minimum driving experience and its that old clich! - Can't get a job with no experience and cant get any experience without a job!! So i was off twiddling my thumbs, looking for work and doing anything i could do to earn some monies just to cover my rent and bills - Thankfully the parents have helped out more than I'd like! But with patience comes rewards, my newbie driving abilities must of made an impression as i slowly but surely got more work, 3 days here, 4 days there and then 2 weeks ago i applied for a permanent part time position as a driver and after a 5hr interview I was phoned the next day to say i got it!!! 5 positions and 14 hopefuls... I got it!:j:j
What with all that going on and trying to keep my head above water through the first part of winter and Christmas, my 'cracking on' with completing the bankruptcy paperwork has some what been put on the back burner until now... I've done quite a bit of it but i find form filling difficult at the best of times on my own unless there's someone offering advise on how to correctly fill it out - I struggle
And i really am on borrowed time now as like i said above i haven't paid any of my creditors since July....
Sorry to have waffled on for so long
