Abbey mortgage

Hi There,
Can i have your opinions on this.
Currently earn 11200 and i outright own my flat with my brother - no mortgage. He wants to move out which led to me applying for £35000 mortgage with Abbey which he is happy with.
I do not have an overdraft and i only have a car loan of 163 a month. I earn 850 a month and my experian credit is excellent and equifax score good.
I applied with natwest and newcastle and they said i would not be able to afford this and declined me. The searches have shown on my report which i am worried about.
My advisor says the Abbey mortgage has been accepted and now is at underriting however i am worried they might say i still can not afford this.
Has anyone been with Abbey? Also any opinions in whether i have a chance in getting this mortgage would be great.
