Co-op - Opening a 2nd Cashminder

I just thought this information might be helpful to someone .....
I wanted to open a 2nd Cashminder account, and just phoned up Co-op. When I opened the original account a couple of weeks prior to my BR in March 2011, it was all done over the phone.
I have been advised that it is no longer possible to do so, and now they send you out a paper application .............. also, depsite my account being run impeccably, and having decent funds available constantly since opening, there is no guarantee they will open me another account ............. watch this space

Get a Nationwide Cash Card + account instead u get all the online facilities same as coop but their phone app is much better and offers account balance AND available balance (ie still waiting for things to clear) and u can move money to other accounts without having to log in to the full website
Also it's a nicer looking debit card!0
