but what exactly are you highlighting? and to whom, there are, the last time I looked only regular members on the board at the moment. By the time morning comes and people who can do something about merging threads log on, all the similar threads you have grouped together will be dispersed again by people making new threads and replying. So, that is why I think it is counter productive

reported to abuse for what? general mods should merge, not abuse. I can't see why its suh a problem, if a search was carried out we wouldn't have so many threads!!!!!! and i don't see how darkteckno bumping them is any worse than you posting on them all.

I disagree, i wasn't abusive in my post, nor unpleasant, i simply can't see the problem with darkteckno bumping the threads in the hope they will be merged, therefore exactly the same reason you did. just my opinion.

Don't fall out over this. I don't have a problem with posts being bumped up, but the truth is that darktechno has been posting serial abuse for a few days now. In addition I know that he has sent abusive PMs to other members.

Whilst people generally agree that multiple postings on the same subject are a pain, few would agree with the way he chooses to 'deal' with it.

if darkteckno is causing disruption, maybe its because he is sick of multiple posts when there is no need for it. had a look and although i disagree with some of his comments, i can see where they are coming from regarding multiple posts for the same freebie which clog up the boards.
no the mods are not psychic about dulpicate threads, therefore darkteckno putting them all together must have been a help, as i'm sure was your email to them.
again, i have not been abusive in any way, just stated my opinion, which was i could see where they were coming from. i actually found your shoot me down in flames attitude quite offensive, this is an open chat forum and peoples opinions are valid whether or not they agree with yours. nor do i feel my posts are negative, they are staing an opinion and only that.

There is no excuse for being outright rude. A little off hand maybe but he goes out of his way to be rude.

Although I don't agree with you and may have to agree to disagree, you don't offend. He does, and he posts purely with that in mind. That is the difference between disagreeing politely and just being ignorent.

You only need to read some of his posts in the B and Q shower timer thread to see what I mean.
