Don't they currently have the maker's mark on them, and don't they come in packaging also with the maker's mark?
Are you going to re-package them?
And won't there be a tipping point when the maker realises that so many of their items are coming to the UK, that they might strike up a deal with someone who's in the business of nationwide distribution through an established large-scale retail operation - PetsWorld, Pets R Us, or similar.0 -

no as im going to be the main person as my business is wholesailing so i am now doing branding. there are no companies on it and no packaging its a brand new raw material waiting for someone to make bulk purchase. wbut i want to know how to do it legally.
i can also gain access to pets at home items via their suppliers so they all use the same thing and same suppliers i just want to brand it to my name like pets ta home do and dont know how to do this legally0 -
I'm not sure there's a legal issue involved. If the manufacturer is selling them as plain-packaged items, it's often because they expect the importer to brand them. I would imagine the only people that could object is the manufacturer, so you should consult them.
You should also look into any potential liability issues further down the line - perhaps you may have more responsibility if you make out that you are the anything other than the importer. However if you already brand other items you've probably looked into this.0
